Atomoss, in collaboration with ceramicist Elea Lelimouzin from Bordeaux, France, has created a special fifth-anniversary series of objects for kar. Drawing inspiration from archaeological rocks, fossils, and other objects formed over time, they employ natural materials, blending time and sedimentary minerals into clay—layering it with temporality. The deep, foundational palette born from organic synthesis imbues each piece with warmth and expansiveness within a raw yet delicately dissonant harmony. Throughout this process, we honor the time inherent in handcrafting and the spontaneous creativity of the material, preserving traces of fingerprints and hand-applied color on the surfaces. Each piece reveals its own texture, balance, and character.
