Olivia Fiddes is a London-based ceramic artist. She designed a rice bowl inspired by kar's furniture collection which explores undulating texture associated with expression and human touch.
In eastern culture, eating is undoubtedly an essential and prior matter, which has been a consensus established for so long. As a type of container for serving rice, bowls have become common and significant tableware on the dining table. By coincidence, kar collaborated with Olivia Fiddes again to create a unique bowl.
The collaborative bowl retains the feeling of kneading the clay model, presenting undulating textures, and further exploring the subtle sensations between the act of creation and the substances.
